|
This study is intended to analyze The relationship between the demographic-sociological characteristic and preparation for later life with the physically challenged in middle and older ages. The subjects of this study were 420 physically challenged persons in middle and older ages living in the areas of Daegu Metropolitan City, Gyeongbuk Province and Gyeongnam Province. The main results of it are as follows. Referring to the general preparation for later life, people with a higher level of educational backgrounds, religion, spouses, houses, good health and larger average monthly income were found to be well prepared for later life. Also, when living separately from their children, the subjects were shown to be well prepared for later life.
